Fundraising Activities

Bairnsdale Lions work hard & are able to tackle any project. Priority is given to projects from our immediate community.

Regular activities undertaken by the club include:

      Lions Christmas Cakes

These fabulous Lions Christmas Cakes are available from early November directly from Bairnsdale Lions club by sending an email to bairnsdalelions@gmail.com, or they are sold at various business outlets around Bairnsdale. Proceeds from cake sales not only support a range of Lions projects in the local community. But also national and global projects.So not only do you get a great tasting cake that is 100% Australian made. But you are supporting a range of Lions Projects.

Major Raffle

The Bairnsdale Lions Major Raffle has been running for approximately 13 years and runs from early January until early May each year. This years Raffle with prizes totaling $6,111.00 will be drawn at our clubs Dinner Meeting on the 5th May 2022. Raffle tickets are sold at various venues in the Bairnsdale business District and local markets. Please click on our current major project page for venue locations. All proceeds from this years raffle are being donated to a worthwhile nominated cause                                    

Lions Christmas Tree Sales

One of the major fundraising activities the Bairnsdale Lions Club is the salesof Christmas Trees.Starting in 1979 it hOneas been conductied each pre-christmas season until the present day' During this time over $200,000 dollars have been raised. All funds raisedhas been donated to worthy causes. Most of which has within our local community..The club has made donations to individuals,community organisations and Emergency Services.

We hope to continue this Fundraising activity into the future.
