PEDIATRIC EYE SCREENINGS

The Avon Lions provide free-of-charge eye screenings to the children of our community.  These screenings utilize the Pediavision Spot camera, which will detect early manifestations of amblyopia, strabismus, and other developmental abnormalities.  When detected before age 7, these issues can be treated and corrected.  Left untreated, a child can have vision issues which could last a lifetime.

ADOPT-A-ROAD CLEANUP

The Avon Lions have a dedicated environmental program.  Twice per year, Lions clean up the stretch of Tillotsen Road from Old Farms Road to the Farmington line. 

In additon, in September, the Lions and Leos work to clean the Fisher Meadows pond and trails.

COFFEE HOUR at AVON HEALTH CENTER
