Member with most years of service is Lion John Vick, with 46 years of service. Lion Jimmy Kirkland is close with 45 years of service.
Members rotate scheduling a guest speaker each week throughout the year. We have had the recent pleasure of Alabama State Senator Sessions, State A.G. Luther Strange, among noted other speakers. Many speakers are of local industries, and clubs that are a benefit to the Andalusia and Covington County area. Recently we had US Forestry Service discuss hutting season laws, County Sheriff’s department, Chamber of Commerce, and Habitat For Humanity to show the variety of guest that welcome a chance to address the LIONS.
