Why join the Alexandria the Alexandria-Watergate Lions Club?

You would be joining a local service group with over 39 years experience serving the Alexandria community.
It is your opportunity to provide personal support for the efforts of our Lions Club to help the blind, the deaf, and others less fortunate.
You can support national and international service efforts to help others in time of need.
You will have opportunity to network with other Lions clubs across Virginia.

Alexandria-Watergate activities include:

Raised over $59,000 for various sight and hearing charities.
Provided more than 400 pairs of glasses for those in need.
Spring and fall clothing drives collecting items worth some $50,000 for the benefit of Goodwill Industries.
Sponsors the Watergate "Renovators Showcase" to share decorating ideas to Watergate residents and raise funds for community projects and donation.
On Site INOVA Watergate Community Blood Drive
Onsite screening for children and adults at area events on the Lions Mobile Sight and Hearing Van.
Onsite recycling eyeglasses at the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center of Northern Virginia.
Partnership with Watergate at Landmark Landscape Committee to plant a tree.
One monthly dinner meeting at Los Tios restaurant (included in your quarterly dues).
One monthly meeting in the Watergate community.
