THE NEXT HUGE FLEA MARKET shall take place on Saturday, June 16, 2012, 9:00AM to 3:00PM. Sponsored by the Madison Lions Club. Admission is free. 40th year on the Historic Madison Green. Over 110 vendors last year.

The 2009/2010 winner won District and State! . . . and has since been ranked Nr. 23 in the International competition!! (SEE THE WEB PAGE "Our Peace Posters")

The Peace Poster Contest for 2011/2012 is under way. Awards date not yet known. (By the way, the 2009/2010 winner, Miss Choiwing Yeung at Polson Middle School, has won the 2010/2011 Madison contest again).
The "Be Thankful That You Can See" Mail Campaign:
A high school student is selected for this honor by faculty, and her/his eyes are photographed and mailed throughout the town: envelope stuffing has taken place on October 12, 2011; for this years' eyes and her/his owner, click: lionwap.org/eclub/sites/MadisonCT/page-9.php and there open "The Madison Lion, vol.10 issue 1" by cklicking "Lion 101" on top of the page.
