1/30/19 Fundraiser

Updated January 25, 2019 - Eyeglass collection. Since July 1, 2018 the Laguna Niguel Lions have collected 12,658 pairs of used eyeglasses and 2,128 cases. Our club is ranked #1 in California in # of eyeglasses donated this year. These glasses are cleaned, sorted and distributed to needy individuals

Members donate toys to South County Outreach for needy families.


December 1, 2018 Light House Vision Screening. November 2018: The Laguna Niguel Lions donated three containers of toy for the Laguna Niguel military support committee

  • USS Stockdale DDG 106 is an Arleigh Burke Guided Missile Destroyer home based in San Diego. It has 380 officers and enlisted sailors.

  •  1st battalion 4th Marine Regiment. It is an infantry battalion with 800 marines and sailors based out of Camp Pendleton CA. It deployed to Syria in 2017.

  • The 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment in the 40th Infantry Division California National Guard. It is a Blackhawk Combat Helicopter Battalion consisting of 400 personnel based out Los Alamitos CA.

 



August 2018 : Backpack drive. The Laguna Niguel Lions  bought 20 backpacks and filled them with school supplies for low income students in Santa Ana via South County Outreach. Thanks to Walmart who also donated $100.
