Birchwood Lions Club was chartered in 1987 and is still going strong with 32 members who meet twice a month at the Cinnamon Brow Community Centre in Warrington, Cheshire. Last year we were involved in 30 events ranging from fun days, marathon races, Santa and his sleigh, a Remembrance Service, charity collections and car boot sales, most of which we arranged. On the social side we have enjoyed visiting speakers, tenpin bowling, nights out and parties. As well as having great fun we managed to raise thousands of pounds for needy causes.
