ZELIENOPLE LIONS CLUB
We are happy to be a part of the largest service organization. Our founder is Melvin Jones and the first club was established in Chicago in 1917.
The Zelienople Lions Club was founded in February 1949 by men interested in community service and in promoting the ideals and objectives of Lions Club International, which includes a spirit of understanding among the people of the world, good citizenship and good government; the welfare of the community; friendship, fellowship, and mutual understanding leadering to an open discussion of public interest matters. Zelienople Lions Club expanded its membership to include women more than a decade ago, and working together, members bring together a variety of professional and cultural interests which assure success in their many community service projects. Zelienople Lions Club will be celebrating sixty-eight years of service to the Zelienople Community in February 2017.
Membership is open to all adults interested in good fellowship and community service. If you are looking for a way to serve your community and at the same time enjoy good food, fun and fellowhip - COME JOIN US.
