Some of the projects that our club undertake are:

• Figtree Markets - Our catering van serves the community on the first Sunday morning of each month
• Eye Glasses - Throughout the year, dedicated Lions member/s attend local optometrists to collect prescription glasses. The glasses are boxed up and sent off to assess the prescription and label them accordingly. The glasses are then sent on to communities in need and distributed by visiting optometrists in those communities
• Yeppoon Lions "I Care" - members of the club get together and make incredible bespoke dignity bags, crochet blankets and beautiful beanies for premiture babies. These are distributed to local health facilities in Central Queensland. The blankets are provided to youth who attend camps throughout the year.
