Planting Trees in homes for Shade and Fruit in the communities of Yei River County of Central Equatorial State in the Republic of South Sudan
Planting Trees in homes is a project designed to plant trees, specifically fruit tree such as Jack fruit, Orange/ Lemon, Avocado, mangoes, grafted and Non grafted, the trees are expected to serve for fruits and shade purpose in afew years to come in homes
The target of the trees to be planted within the month of May 2021 is 1000
The target beneficiaries number 100 People,
The Lions of Yei started this project from 5/01/2021 and to 5/29/2021 togheter with community members, Ten Lion club members actively participated in this tree planting Activity.
The Lion club members of Yei Central fund raised for 1500$ used to purchase ready planted seedlings, the seedlings were raised by reputable company known as RELIC Investment, the Director of the company gave the seedlings at a more friendly price since he is one of the Lion member for Yei central. Funds raised has also been used for the cost of transplanting the seedlings to where they can be planted in the beneficiaries homes, the funds also covered cost of refreshment such as water and biscuit during the planting and community meetings
