The Windsor Lions Club performs volunteer work, such as:
- Providing route marshals for the annual Windsor Hunger Walk
- Bell ringers for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive
- Assisting at the Windsor Human Development Food Pantry
- Adopt-A-Highway cleanup of the I-86 Exit 79 ramp
- Local projects for the United Way Annual Day-of-Caring
The club also conducts a variety of fundraising events through the year. These include an annual golf tournament, chicken BBQs, Sno-Kone sales, hosts for the Windsor Concert on the Green, and a Grausgruber print raffle.
Funds raised are used to provide scholarships each year to college bound seniors at WCHS. Additional funds raised go to numerous local and regional organizations including:
- Free vision exams and eyeglasses
- collection and recycling of used eyewear and hearing aids.
- WCHS Post Prom/SADD
- WCHS Student Athlete Awards
- Windsor Human Development
- Windsor Library
- Several Windsor town and village events
- Village Easter Egg Hunt
- Lions Sign at Klumpp Park
Regional /International projects which the Windsor Lions support include:
- Lions Camp Badger (Empire State Special Needs Experience, Inc.)
- Leader Dogs for the Blind
- Finger Lakes Region Lions Hearing Foundation
- NYS/Bermuda Foundation
