Welcome to our website.
Our Club was formed in 1974. The 'mother' club was Fleetwood and Cleveleys Lions club Lancashire.
The original name of the club was Windermere (English Lakes) Lions Club. Later, as our funding expanded into Ambleside and area, we changed our name to what it is now,
Windermere and Ambleside Lions Club.
We are a mixed club, with membership open to both sexes.
We twinned with the Lions Club from Diessen am Ammersee Bavaria on 29th.April 2007.
