WHO ARE THE WILSONVILlE LIONS?
We have proudly served the Wilsonville community for more than 55 years!
Our members are very different in many ways, but we share a core belief - our community is what we make it. That's because we help where help is needed. In short, We Serve!
Here are some of the things our club does:
- Assists local residents with obtaining eyeglasses and eye exams
- Participates in School Vision Screening Programs for Wilsonville schools
- Hosts annual Boones Ferry Cruise-In car show. (See Photo Gallery)
- Awards Service Above Self Scholarship to graduating WHS senior
- Plant trees on public property
- Collect, count and sort hundreds of pairs of used eyeglasses annually.
- Assists local residents in obtaining hearing aids
- Purchased "Beep Ball" and charger for visually impaired youth softball players
- Participates in disaster preparation and relief projects
- Conducts community food drive at Fred Meyer entrance.
