CURRENT CLUB PROJECT

Community Recycling Challenge

The Wilmington Lions Club reached out to NexTrex regarding their recycling program.  We took on their challenge to collect 500 pounds of plastic refuse in a six month span.  It takes about 40,500 bags to equal 500 pounds.  But we are collecting more than just plastic bags.  In return we they will dontate a compsite bench that we can place within our community.  We can earn two benches per year.

Our first bench we are going to dedicate in the memory of Lion Kathey Carroll.

See the flyers of that kind of plastic we accept and dont accept.

Also, reach out to any Wilmington Lion member to drop off your plastic.  Thank you!
