Records have not been kept until the 1980's but the White River Lions Club has helped the local community (Upper Valley) in a number of different ways.

- Wood Raffles and rifle raffles
- 5/50 raffles started in 1984, raised to 7/70 in 1987, raised to 10/100 in 1988
- Barbeques courtesy of Mike Blood and Brett Frazer
- Annual car show started in 1991
- Glasses and hearing aid financial assistance to locals in need
- Children sponsored for Camp Downer
- Hearing impaired children sponsored to Green Mountian Camp and Austine Camp
- Annual Pancake breakfast started in 1976 at Bugbee Senior Center
- Two $500 scholarships for High School graduates
- Raffle with White River Rotary Club to purchase an enclosed trailer for Boy Scout Troop #232
- Donated $3000 and labor to build the Lyman Point bandstand for the Town of Hartford
- Held a joint Lions-Rotary barbeque
- Sold Christmas tree fire alarms
- Cleaned and repaired gravestones at a small cemetery
- Repair and paint the sign board at Sykes Avenue
- Spring flea markets
- Swings at Frost Park and drinking fountain at Radcliffe Park
- Sidewalk for the Hartford Garden Club
- Annual Halloween dance to raise funds for Red Logan Dental Clinic
- Financial support for local families after misfortune
- Donations to Wilder Library, The Haven, Holiday Basket Helpers, VT Association for the Blind, Hartford High School Project Graduation
