West Windsor Lions Club Activities

July – Collected hundreds of eyeglasses from several locations.

August 30th – Summer get-together, DG visit, and installation of new members.

September 18th–20th – US Canada Forum in Atlantic City attended by 4 members.

September 28th – Attended Gratitude Day and represented Lions along with STEP Leos.

October 4th – Mental Wellness Toolkit discussion.

October 11th – Lions for Life Suicide Awareness and Prevention Workshop.

October 13th – Alok Sharma’s Birthday Fundraiser on FB 

October 18th – White Cane Fundraiser 

November 18th – West Windsor Lions Club’s poster by Kashvi Jaitley wins Distt 16J Peace
Poster Competition and wins second place in MD 16 (New Jersey) on November 22nd.

November 19th – WWLC helped 3 children from Princeton Public School get vision testing and 
eyeglasses.

November 25th–December 6th – Poinsettia Sale Fundraiser.

December 14th – Holiday Party

January – Picked up eyeglasses from several other locations and donated canned food for the MLK Day event.

March 1st – STEP Leo kids sorted several hundred pairs of eyeglasses.

March 23rd – Donated 10 pairs of hearing aids for recycling.

March 28th – Easter Egg Hunt.

April 3rd – Dropped thousands of eyeglasses at the NJ Eyeglasses Recycling Center.

April 6th – Helped a person in Cranbury get a wheelchair, phone, emergency pager, and a few other things after his surgery where his foot was amputated.

April 15th–April 25th – Our scholarship committee reviewed several applications and selected three students for scholarship awards.

April 25th – Hosted and helped organize Distt 16J’s Cultures in Motion to celebrate New Jersey’s diversity through dance and music and raise money for LCIF.
