The Club just finished a duel fund raisers at Dock Daze. We sold hot dogs and car raffle tickets. The next event will be the  annual yard sale on June 23rd.. Other fund raisers are: (1) Vision Day , a fund raising effort to support vision research at Wilmer Eye Institute, John Hopkins: (2) Annual Lions Yard Sale on the West Side to raise scholarship funds for local college bound students. A new approach to the annual yard sale is to put items on Craigslist as we get them. We have several items posted now.

Our club along with the churches and the Community Center held a road side clean up which was very well received by the community. We cleaned every road on the West Side and removed 80 plus bags of trash.
