Club Projects

Tootsie Pop Day is May 7th and 8th, 2021

This sweet treat will help raise funds to support vision & hearing services and programs for both your Club and your LIF.

Lions and volunteers will be visible throughout their communities on the first Friday and Saturday of May for Tootsie Pop Day! Lions will be giving away Tootsie Pops and accepting monetary contributions to be used in helping the visually and hearing impaired. It is almost impossible for those who can see and hear normally to fully understand what it is like to be visually or hearing impaired, but they can help through their support of Tootsie Pop Day.

People can show their support by giving generously, helping underwrite the price of a case of candy, or volunteering for a few hours on Tootsie Pop Day. Persons wishing to join the Lions in their fight against the effects of vision and hearing loss should contact the local Lions Club or the Lions of Illinois Foundation.

CANDY DAY:  October 8th and 9th, 2021

Our delicious candy roll is proudly given to the public with the hopes they will continue to support the Lions vision & hearing services & programs in Illinois.

Your local Lions Club needs your help. For over 40 years, Lions Clubs help raise funding for the 13 programs and services that the Lions of Illinois Foundation provides to communities throughout Illinois.  On Friday, October 8, 2021 and Saturday, October 9, 2021, your local Lions Club members and volunteers will be visible on the streets of your community. Stop and say “hi” to your local Lions club member. Any donation made, whether big or small, is greatly appreciated. As a thank you, you will receive a packet of Lions mints. All donations are used to help the visually and hearing impaired. We look forward to seeing you on October 8th and 9th.
