The West Allis Lions Club was charterd January 14, 1938.

The club was an "Evening" club with a number of business men who eventually expressed an interest in meeting over lunch.  As a result the West Allis Club sponsored a new club which was chartered as the "WEST ALLIS WEST" Lions Club on March 11, 1974.

As time went on both clubs flourished however after the change of the century the original club was loosing more members then they could recruit finding it difficult to continue as a productive member of Lions International.

The West Allis and West Allis West clubs began discussions of a possible merge and held a number of joint meetings, fundraisers and service projects.  An agreement was made and the clubs merged on July 1, 2012 keeping the name of the origional "WEST ALLIS LIONS CLUB".
