It’s been a while since the Waynesboro Lions Club has published a newsletter so let’s get caught up!  In June we had our Installation of Officers followed by volunteering at bingo at the Mont Alto Carnival.

July was a slower month, but we did participate in the summer jubilee again this year. 

In August, we started off the month by hosting another BBQ fundraiser.  Big thank you to Fat Russ BBQ for helping us out and another big thank you to the Lions who volunteered their time at the event.  During our August club meeting we collected school supplies to donate to our local elementary schools and we crowned Lion Jim Eles our Lion of the Year for is dedication to all of our fundraisers and events. Thank you, Lion Jim, for your service!
