Watson Chapel Lions Club
Lions Clubs international, founded in 1917, is now the world's largest service club association, with over 44,800 clubs and 1.3 million men and women serving their community around the world
The Watson Chapel Lions club currently holds three fund raisers annually. A chili supper in February, a rabies clinic in the spring and fall, and White Cane Day in October. 100% of the money raised through these efforts goes to help people in need within our community and beyond.
Our primary goals relate to sight conservation and helping the visually impaired. We help people locally that cannot affort glasses to obtain glasses. We also recycle used glasses.
Local dues are $55.00 every three months, due in January, April, July, and October. The dues include the cost of the meal provided at each club meeting (this is normally 2 meals a month or 6 meals per quarter).
