Meetings

SUNDAY 30th July, Bunnings BBQ, come along and support your local charity and community

Next Wednesday 17th May we are catering for Lillier Lodge patients.  So far, the following meals have been promised-  Vegetable and Lentil soup with bread rolls; Curried chicken and rice; Chicken wings; Potato bake; Honey Mustard Chicken; Mixed vegetables; Baked custard; and Apple Pie. If anyone else can provide a dish of main or dessert it will be much appreciated. Judy and Wilma will be our servers that night but anyone else who would like to go along will be most welcome.  Once the serving is finished, our helpers join the guest for a meal.

Dinner Meeting for the 24th May has been CANCELLED  as we will be having our Changeover Dinner on the 27th at the Union Club Hotel.   Please advise Di Smith of your menu choice ASAP so our meals can be pre-ordered to ensure everyone is served at the same time.  A copy of the menu was given out last night and if you are attending the Changeover but haven’t got a copy, please contact Di.

Committee 4 Wagga is holding a welcome to Wagga evening for new residents on Friday 19th May at 4.30 pm   Bob Smith and Mick Grallelis will be representing Lions and hopefully may find a few new members amongst the new residents.

Haynes Paints are organising a BBQ breakfast at each of the NSW stores soon.  It will start at 7 am and  we have been asked to participate and prepare Bacon and Egg rolls and Snags.  Haynes supply all the food and we cook and get to keep the left overs.  We need about 3 or 4 members. When I know more, I will let everyone know.

Barry Kennedy -our historian would like members to send him ANY photos they have of our Lions activities over the past twelve month.  If you have a stash on your phone, please email them to Barry at barry_kennedy@yahoo.com.
