Verona Lions Our History

     The Verona Lions Club

    Our Motto "We Serve"

     The Verona Lions Club was chartered on March 30th, 1951. A total of 20 members were listed on the original charter.  At the present time there are 40 members in the organization.

              Stated Objectives are:

• To create and foster a spirit of understanding among the people of the community. 
• Take an active interest in the civic, cultural,social and moral welfare of the community.
• Promote friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding among the membership.
• To encourage service minded members to serve the community without personal financial reward.
