Enjoy fresh pancakes and sausage slathered with butter and real maple syrup. A welcome spring treat that can't be beat! The festival will include many fun things for the family to do, including an egg hunt for the little ones, first of the season 5K run, and special discounts at downtown businesses.

Five Lions Clubs are joining their helping hands to pack food for local food banks. Clubs will be able to designate locations in their local communities as drop off sites for the packaged food that can then be made available for those facing food insecurities. Clubs joining together for the event are: Detroit Lakes, Vergas, Lake Park/Audobon, Hitterdal, Mahnomen-Wauban Clubs. The work goes quickly, time flies, and we have fun assembling the packets of food. If you'd like to help, see Vergas Lion President Jay Norby.
