Aug. 2011-Wives of Members celebrated Teej Festival amidst a very congenial atomsphere in Samara restaurant. They Sang,danced & applied Mehandi to hands in the competetion at the spot. Wife of Reg. Chair. Ravi R Agrawal (Mrs. Sangita Agrawal) was the judge of different events organised their. Ln Shashi Dutt was adjudged Teej Queen while runners up were Ln Shraddha Agnihotri & Ln Vandana. Mehandi Rache Haath were won by Ln Shraddha Agnihotri. Slol-dance was won by Ln Neeta Jaiswal & runners up Ln Shraddha. President Vivek Bhola thanked the lion members for organising a successful All Ladies programme.
Members celebrated Independence Day (15 Aug) with childrens of Sharda Ashram & Bhartiya Shishu Mandir. After hoisting of National Flag President Vivek Bhola handed over sweets, books,copies & small watches to total 65 students. Costing 6500/-. 12 members were present.
Members were tied Raksha Sutra by Girl Students of Panini Kanya Mahavidyalay (residential school for teaching Sanskrit language) amid chantting of Ved Mantras. Later they were offered food & utensils for their use costing 8500/-.Chief Guest Region Chairman Ravi Ranjan Agrawal. 20 members present. |
Family Members gathered on Saturday(6 Aug) at Hotel Ideal Towers and enjoyed games & other activities. Programme was wel conducted by Lion Shashi Dutt,Kiran Bhola,Shraddha Agnihotri. President Vivek Bhloa welcomed the members while Ln. Rajiv Sengar extended vote of thanks. 73 family members participated including children.
