Christmas Afternoon Tea for our Senior Citizens

Vale Royal Lions were pleased to welcome 35 “senior citizens” to Cuddington Village Hall on Tuesday afternoon, 19.12.23. to enjoy a Christmas afternoon tea. Greeted with a glass of “zero-secco” bubbly on arrival, club members then served them to a delicious selection of canapes, sandwiches, cakes and mince pies.

Teas and coffees were readily available, and the afternoon rounded off with the singing of Christmas carols, with keyboard accompaniment.

Whilst a few of the attendees were friends of club members, the majority were associated with Snow Angels, a local social enterprise which supports older people to continue to live independently and keep well. They operate schemes across Cheshire and work with a range of local organisations.
