UNDERWOOD LIONS CLUB ACTIVITIES
FUND RAISERS
- Our famous pork chops - every year we grill over 6000 pork chops at community and business sponsored events.
- Charitable gambling - pull tabs - horse racing games - bingo and meat raffles.
- Rental of shuttle wagons - rent our shuttle "people mover" wagons for use at area events.
ACTIVITIES
- Meals on Wheels - we deliver meals to those in need.
- Sponsor Ice Racing on Bass Lake.
- Halloween party - we provide treats, hot dogs and beverages for kids and parents.
- Ditch cleaning along highway 210.
- Speech awards at Underwood School - we purchase and present the awards.
- Underwood Harvest Festival - we help fund event, grill pork chops and sponsor youth raffle drawings.
- Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign - we collect over $20,000 every year, ringing bells and manning the Red Kettle at Fleet Farm.
- Backpack program at Underwood School - our members volunteer their time.
- Phelps Mill Festival - We serve pork chops, organize the parking, and supply the shuttle service wagons.
- Participates in parades.
- Collects eye glasses.
