Meetings

Monthly breakfasts are held in the Trinidad School cafeteria on the last Sunday of the month from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Come join us for breakast! You choose between biscuits and gravy with eggs or pancakes with eggs and your choice of ham or sausage. Orange juice, milk, and hot drinks are also available. Adults eat for $8 while kids eat for $4. There are also used books for sale at $0.25 for kids books, $0.50 for paperbacks, and $1 for hardcover.

Each month, on the first monday of the month, we have a business meeting in the townhall that starts at 7:00 PM and goes until everyone's done talking.

We also do something called the Brown Bag where we deliver food to some families on the second Tuesday of each month. Each delivery includes various non-parishables; a frozen portion of meat, chicken, or fish; a loaf of bread; and a good sized bag of fresh veggies.

On the third Wednesday of each month we host the Food Pantry for Trinidad in the town hall from 10:30 to 12:30 AM. Here people come to pick up a bag of non-parishable foods, a loaf of some kind of interesting bread, fresh fruits or vegetables, and their choice of various other items that have been donated to us for us to give them out.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt, the day before Easter Sunday, in the field behind Murphy's Market at noon. Divisions by age. Lots of colorful plastic eggs filled with candy, vouchers for prizes, and even some money.

Annual Halloween party, on October 31 of course, at the Trinidad Town Hall.

We do vision screening wherein we use a specialized camera to test an individual's eyes for preliminary vision issues and refer those that need help.

We host a Student Speaker Contest where students compete to win a monetary prize by writing and preforming a speech on that year's chosen topic.
