Senior center holiday luncheon
Again this year, the Townsend Lions Club will be sponsoring a holiday luncheon at the Townsend Senior center on December 9Th. We are grateful to have been able to do this several years in a row. This year, we are also grateful that we were able to get support through a grant from LCIF. LCIF stands for Lions Clubs International Foundation, the grant-making arm of Lions Clubs International. It is the organization's foundation that provides grants to support Lions clubs and districts in carrying out humanitarian projects around the world, such as sight programs, disaster relief, and youth development. LCIF has been empowering Lions to help those in need since 1968.
