Veterinary Camp 10th to 12-07-2012 3 Days
Veterinary Camp was conducted in 5 villages (Varambiam,Vittukatti,Madapuram,Manali and Sathangudi) on consecutive in 3 days.Dr.Ramalingam and his team do the needful to this project.Treatment was given to nearly 600 cows, 1200 goats and 10 dogs.

Cholamandalam Chess Tournament 14-07-2012
Thanjavur,Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur district level chess tournament for 8 category ( Under -9,Under-11,Under-13 and Under-17 Boys and girls in each category) was conducted on 14-07-2012 at St.Antony Matric Higher Secondary School Thiruthuraipoondi. 199 Student from Tanjavur,Nagapattinam,Mayiladuthurai,Tiruvarur,Thiruthuraipoondi,Mannargudi,Sirkali,Kumbakonam,Pattukkottai and Muthupettai were participated in this tournament.Free lunch was given to the player and parents.Total 80 Prizes were given to the winners ( 10 Prizex for each category).Cheif guest for this event was Mr.R.K.Balaguneshekaran,Joint Secratary of Tamilnadu State Chess Association.
Veterinary Camp 27-07-2012 to 02-08-2012 6 Days (Sunday Holiday)
Veterinary Camp-2 was conducted in 6 villages (Kothamangalam,Nunakadu,Kokaladi,Velur,Viswanathapuram and Ezhilur) on consecutive in 6 days.Dr.Ramalingam and his team Dr.Ramya,Dr.Kaviya,Dr.Jayakumar,Dr.Vishwandar,Dr.Darmalingam and Dr.Surendar do the needful to this Camp.FMD Injection was given to 812cows, PPR Injection was given to 1464 goats .On final day Dr.Natarajan ,Asst Director of Veterinary hospital, visited the camp.
Well Excavation For Drinking Water 4-08-2012
In nearby village vellur, one old well was excavated, to provide drinking water to nearly 100 families, on 04-08-2012.

Our president hoisted the National Flag in Thiruthuraipoondi Elementary School and distributed pencil box and sweet to 102 school students
Awards Given to 108 Service Persons
Appreciation Awards were given to 108 Ambulance Service persons of entire Thiruvarur District (nearly 52 service Persons). In Thiruthuraipoondi taluk, our president gave the award on Independence Day and in other places, government officers (on behalf of Thiruthuraipoondi Town Lions Club) gave this award to 108 service persons on the same day
Eye Camp Jointly With Madurai Aravindh Eye Hospital
Eye Camp was conducted on 19-08-2012 in St.Theresa's Girls Higher Secondary School .Four Doctors and 12 Staff Nurse from Aravindh Hospital had done a great job.St.Theresa' s Girls Higher Secondary School NSS Volunteers ,School teachers and management gave a great support to us. Eye screening was done to 393 patients. 73 patients were taken to Madurai Aravindh Eye Hospital for IOCL Operation by bus .The IOCL operation was done successfully and they return back to Thiruthuraipoondi on 21-08-2012.
Eye Awareness Champaign 05-09-2012
Eye awareness campaign was conducted jointly with Government Higher secondary School, Thiruthuraipoondi on 05-09-2012 .Nearly 300 student was participated in the road march (nearly 1.5 KM) to promote eye healthiness and eye donation,Chief guest of the program was Ln.S.Vedahanayagam,Lions club of Vedaraniyam.

On 09-09-2012 teacher's excellence award function was conducted in Tiruvarur by Tiruvarur Lions Club.We select Mr.S.Paramasivam from our town Thiruthuraipoondi for this award and sent him to award function.Our President Secretary and joint secretary participated.
