Home of the Thornville Lions Country Fair!

The Thornville Lions Club would like to take this opportunity to update the central Ohio community on the 46th "Thornville Lions Country Fair,” originally set for October 18th, 2020.

In order to protect the health and safety of our community volunteers, vendors and attendees, we are canceling the 2020 show this year.  We realize it is a disappointment and unfortunate because this is a major fundraiser event for many nonprofits and vendors.  The safety and well-being of everyone involved has always been important to our Lions and this was taken into consideration to help us make the difficult decision to cancel.  In addition, the State of Ohio has issued mandatory and ever-changing social distancing and sanitation rules which make it difficult to accommodate large gatherings.

In our club’s almost 70–year history, our focus on serving the Thornville   area community has not changed.  Even though our fund  raising totals will be lower this year, we still plan to do what we can.

We want to thank all our participants for your continued support and help with keeping our tradition of community service alive. We will be having a special broom sale soon—watch for information.  If you would like to support our many ongoing projects (Scholarships, Food Bank, Arbor Day events, Eye exams and glasses etc…) please contact us through our
