About our club.
The Terrace-Brier Lions Club is a relatively new club. It was chartered December 7, 1998. Lion Don Shove was the guiding lion. Lion Rob Schumer officiated over the club's charter night at the VFW Hall in Mountlake Terrace. We still have four of the original charter members.
Terrace Brier is a warm, friendly club. We have a demography of varying cultures and nationalities. Ages range from 18 to 90 years of age. We have students, blue collar workers, business owners and professionals as well as retired members of the community.
We value our older and experienced members. We welcome fresh ideas from a younger generation and need the energy from that younger generation to get the job done. Our goal is to increase membership so that we can do more to serve our community.
We are proactive in making sure every member’s participation is appreciated. We value member’s time and understand that all members have at least two higher priorities: their family or private life, and their job or career. We strive to make sure that every moment of every member’s participation in our Lions Club is meaningful.
Our goal is to make Terrace Brier Lions Club the best place to serve ones community. Please take a look at the page "Club Projects" on this website that tells about our service projects.
