Hawks Nest Off-Leash Dog Park Project 2026 – Providence Bay Park
The Hawks Nest Tea Gardens community currently has no fenced off-leash dog park. This means there is no safe, secure, or accessible space for seniors, people with mobility challenges, families, or visitors to enjoy off-leash time with their dogs.
We working to change that with a major project in 2026.
We are raising funds to build a purpose-built, fully fenced off-leash dog park at Providence Bay Park, Hawks Nest, designed to serve both locals and visitors while enhancing safety, inclusion, and community connection.

What the Dog Park Includes
-
A fully fenced, secure off-leash area
-
Two separate play zones:
-
Small or timid dogs
-
Large or energetic dogs
-
-
Covered seating in each zone
-
Agility and basic training equipment
-
A safe, shaded, community-friendly design
This project has the support of MidCoast Council and has been carefully designed to promote accessibility, wellbeing, and positive community use.

Fundraising Goal
We aim to raise $60,000 to deliver this much-needed community facility.
