1950 August 5. The Lions Club of Tagbilaran was granted charter by the IALC with 21 charter members and Dr. Jacinto Borja as Charter President

1964: Tagbilaran City Lioness Club was chartered with Consuelo Bernido as Charter president.

1980: Mt. Banat-i Lions & Lioness Clubs were granted charters as the first daughter clubs of the Tagbilaran City (Host) Lions Club with Atty. Rodulfo Yap and Jovita Ancog, Charter presidents

1981: Dagohoy Lions & Lioness Clubs Club chartered as second daughter clubs presidents Rogelio Bernaldez & Ms. Capayas.

1996: Bohol Island Lions Club was granted charter as the third daughter club, Charter president Rene Relampagos

1999: Dr. Victoria G. Labado was elected the first woman president of the club.

2011: Dagohoy Lions Club sponsored the chartering of the Chocolate Hills Lions Club with an all female membership, charter President Faith Lumantas

2012: Tagbilaran City Hosts Lions Club sponsored the chartering of the Talibon Carlos P. Garcia Lions Club with Januario Item as charter president
