SEEING EYES EARLY AND "SPOT CAMERA” 

The main mission to which we are directed is the early detection of visual deficiencies in children, through schools it is possible for us to carry out campaigns for the early detection of refraction problems and ocular misalignment.
Our goal is for 100% of children to be screened. For this we have the Spot-Vision Screener camera, if the child has a diagnosis, his teachers, parents, optometrists and we can help him.
 

RetinaVue 700 early detection of diabetic retinopathy

This'll year we launched a project: visual screening for adults.  Thanks to the Lions Club International Foundation grant, our contribution and the contribution of benefactors such as Key Bank, M&T Bank, the support of professionals such as Dr. Malara, we are able to start this project.  We now have the RetinaVue 700 camera, this camera allows the ophthalmologist to identify different pathologies, including diabetic retinopathy, which causes 40% of blindness in adults.  We hope to cover a good part of the adult population at risk and who have difficulties accessing the health service.  We service the community.
