4th of July Celebration

As Americans, we enjoy the blessings of freedom, peace, and representative government because our veterans were willing to risk their lives. We are forever grateful to these selfless individuals. The Sunnyside Lions Club, together with the City of Sunnyside, and other local business sponsors will be honoring our country with a special celebration. In 2025 we added a FREE day of Swimming at our local swimming pool. Located at 818 East Edison Ave, Sunnyside, WA

📍 Location: Sunnyside High School Football Field – Clem Senn Stadium
🎟️ Admission: Free (Donations accepted by the Sunnyside Lions Club)

Schedule of Events:

• 6:00 PM – Gates Open

• 6:00 PM to Dusk - Food and Merchandise Vendors available for your pleasure

• 6:30 PM – Color Guard of VFW, post 3482

• 6:45 PM – Veteran Guest Speaker

• 7:15 PM – Watermelon Eating Contest

• 7:45 PM - Hot Dog Eating Contest

• Dusk – Fireworks Display
