Who We Are

WE ARE THE SUN PRAIRIE LIONS CLUB

We serve as part of Lions International, a service organization founded June 17, 1917, in Chicago, IL by Founder Melvin Jones. The Lions motto is "WE SERVE". Lions International HQ is in Oak Brook, IL. Worldwide there are 1.4 million members.

We are part of the Wisconsin Lions Multiple District 27 (MD27), which encompasses the entire state of Wisconsin. The state Lions Club office is in Stevens Point, WI. There are 557 Lions Clubs statewide made up of 19,500 members.

Regionally, we are located within Division 1 (27-D1). 27-D1 is made up of 58 clubs ranging from Deerfield to West Grant/Monroe to Pardeeville. We are further located in Region 1, Zone 2. There are 1,973+ members in 27-D1.

About Our Club

The Sun Prairie Lions serve the greater Sun Prairie community within the City and Township of Sun Prairie, WI. We meet on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at the Sun Prairie Lions Clubhouse.

Annual Dues: $260 per year (payable quarterly)

$50 → Lions International  •  $6.50 → State  •  $10.50 → District  •  $193 → Sun Prairie Club (meals & clubhouse upkeep)

Dues to International increased from $48 to $50 in 2025. Yearly dues remained the same at $260.
