WHO ARE THE SUN CITY EARLY BIRD LIONS?

The Sun City Early Birds was chartered in 1974.  The club has as its purpose through the development of the fellowship to serve better the needy people of the world, and particularly, the sight impaired.

The membership is made up of a cross-section of all backgrounds, men and women united in the common desire to serve those in need of help.

We sing, we laugh, we pray, we help one another, we work, and we serve.

HOW THE EARLY BIRDS SERVE

By direct donations of time and/or money to the following agencies or organizations:

WE SERVE!!

Lions Club International is an international service organization.  As of January 2020, it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.3 million members in more than 200 countries and geographic areas around the world.

The Lions motto is "We Serve". Local Lions Club programs include sight conservation, hearing and speech conservation, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, international relations, environmental issues, and many other programs. The discussion of partisan politics and sectarian religion is forbidden. The LIONS acronym also stands for Liberty, Intelligence, Our Nations' Safety.
