Club Ongoing Projects
Vision Screenings- We perform vision screenings at various locations in Southern Nevada.
Vision Impaired Bowling - Bowling weekly at the Silver Nugget in North Las Vegas. All are welcome to come support and cheer the bowlers.

UMC Lions Burn Center- We provide financial assistance please make a donation to the club for the Burn Center. We also provide assistance wrapping holiday presents that are given to children at the annual holiday party for children who have been patients at the burn center.
UMC Lions Burn Center and other UMC programs can be viewed regularly. On Channel 4 on Mondays, 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 4:00 p.m. under the title: UMC Digest.
Lotza Fun Summer Camp . This project became a District 46 project at the May Cabinet Meeting/Convention 2015. Lotza Fun Summer Camp is a camp for financially disadvantaged children. We have received great support from the local community, businesses and various Lions Clubs in District 46.

Ronald McDonald House- Lions Clubs Volunteer to prepare and serve dinner for Ronald McDonald house. This facility is for parents that have childfen in the hospital. They have rooms and meals while their kids are in recovery
Sneaker Drive Fundraising –
To support our free eye screenings, cancer/diabetes awareness, student speaker program and other projects, we collect and recycle used athletic shoes “sneakers.” We partner with local businesses, sports teams, medical providers and individuals by collecting and recycling used sneakers.
Donated sneakers are refurbished and/or recycled. This provides quality shoes to those in need, keeps the shoes out of landfills and reduces environmental pollution. A true WIN/WIN!
