Donation Drives (August 2021 - Ongoing)

SB Lions have been spending Sunday mornings in the Stony Brook Village collecting donations of fresh produce, non-perishables, and toiletries which are then distrubted to local food pantries. Lions in both our club and from neighboring clubs have been incredibly supportive in this!

Holiday Gift Gard Collection (December 2020)

Lion Greta spearheaded a collection of donations for the club to provide gift cards to Jefferson Academic Center (Eastern Suffolk BOCES), which distributed them to families in need this holiday season. SB Lions and friends of the club made it possible to donate over $400 in local retail gift cards.

Back-to-School Supply Drive (September 2020)

Lions Hester, Jennie, and Matt drop off the school supplies that SB Lions Club collected. The supplies were brought to Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook, who were holding a drive to benefit Community Solidarity

As a group we donated more than $800 worth of school supplies, generously supported by both SB Lions and friends!
