Our club donates backpacks we filled with items (crayons, pencils, notepad, activity book, reading book, coloring book, stuffed animal) for children either visiting or admitted to Bayhealth Hospital.

Lion Sue Shore is seen here volunteering with Lion Linda Dimartine from Brookside Lions and Lion Pat Weaver from Camden-Wyoming Lions for Opening Eyes at the Special Olympics held at UD on June 10.

Lions Melinda Robbins and Sharon Rothermel shopped for and delivered diapers and wipes to DAPI in Camden. They are seen here with happy moms and a representative staffer from DAPI. Our club purchases these items biannually for our DAPI Project.

Lion Sue Killen, flanked by our secretary Lion BJ Ryder and King Lion Sue Griffith is seen in the picture receiving recognition as a Bronze Clement F. Kusiak Fellow. This was given to recognize her helping with our club’s programs that benefit youth.

Pictured here is one of 2 benches we donated to the Frederica Senior Center from our on-going sheet plastic collections. The Center placed it onto a concrete slab and added the umbrella for shade.
