Our Service Activities

During Lion Year 2025-26, our main charitable effort continued to be our eyesight programs for children and adults. We helped provide eye exams and glasses for over 80 Spotsy adults and children in need totaling nearly $5,000 in services. We also contributed over $2,000 to the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank providing over 4,000 meals for the local community.  

To support local families and Spotsylvania County Public Schools, we provided a $500 scholarship to five Spotsy high school students. In addition, we supported Spotsylvania families by adopting several families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Lasty, we supported several Lions Charities that provided support to the community. 

In Lion Year 2025-2026, our main fund raising events were our bi-monthly Bingo game, annual golf tournament, Beer Bingo for the Benefit of the Blind, and a Charity Dance event. We also sold White House Ornaments to raise funds to provide services to the local community.
