Club Projects

• Coal Miner Days Pancake Breakfast - Community event held during Coal Miner Days
• Kikomun Run hotdog lunch - Providing lunch and refreshments for athletes from East Kootenay elementary schools during the Kikomun Run (early May) (with other Lions Clubs in our Zone)
• Back to School Breakfast - For students in local elementary and high schools
• Sparwood Futures Society - (Lions are Founding members of the collection of community organizations) Helping with community projects and maintaining Mountain Shadows Campground
• Lions Scholarships - Two $1,000 bursaries each year for local students pursuing post-secondary education
• TV Bingo - Fundraising events to support local groups
• Recycling Program - Collecting and recycling cans and bottles (2-3 times weekly)
• Winterfest - Community winter celebration
• Holiday Train - Every two years, at the  - Serving hot chocolate for a Food Bank Fundraiser
• Eyeglass Recycling Program - In partnership with CLERC
• Donation Boxes - boxes for spare change at various businesses.
