• Recycling Bottle & Cans - Bottle Sorting continues weekly, email us for specific days and times for sorting. Bottles can be dropped off at the box in the Village Pizza parking lot as well as the Southwick Transfer Station. Please make sure bags do not have everyday household trash AND the barcode on the can or bottle must be clear, visible and not crushed.
• Please consider donating your old prescription eyeglasses. Drop off boxes at Southwoods, the Transfer Station and the Southwick Senior Center or you can give them to a member of the Lion's Club. New: 2024 ~ we are also collecting hearing aids. These items are cleaned and sorted by prescription, then sent to lower-income countries.
• Lion's Clubs are known for working on ending preventable blindness. District 33Y has an eyemobile/Blinq eye testing equipment. Keep an "eye" out for community screening events.
