South Hill Lions Club Sight Program

The main focus of the South Hill Lions Club is our dedication to helping others with their sight.  We do that in a couple of ways. 

First, we provide monetary help for those who may not be able to afford eyeglasses.  If you know of an individual who could use some help, let us know and we will get that person an application for our assistance.  If the need is there, we will help pay for a sight exam and assist with defraying the costs of new glasses.  No strings attached.  We want to help!

Second, our club regularly provides sight screenings at many of the local schools.  With our equipment we can easier and painlessly check a childs eyes and identify several possible problems that a child might have and catch the problem early on.  Many kids have problems that have not been identified yet and their grades, and even their lives, may be suffering due to some sight deficiency.  We can help and we are pleased to do so.
