Day 1 - April 19, 2024

Day 2 - April 20, 2024

Private | Half Day City tour, Casa de Aliaga & Larco Museum._Duration:_5 hrs

You will visit the colonial part of the city of Lima, "The City of the Kings”. You will head to the Historic Center, where you will visit the historic Convent of Santo Domingo, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Following, you will visit the stunning Casa de Aliaga, historic house of conqueror Jerónimo de Aliaga, where his descendants still live. Then you will walk to the Plaza Mayor, where you will have the chance to take some pictures of the gorgeous colonial architecture of important buildings that surround it, such as the Government Palace and the Cathedral. Finally, you will be transferred to the Larco Museum, which houses the unsurpassed private collection of treasures from Ancient Peru. This collection inspires its visitors, making them discover, understand and enjoy the more than five thousand years of Ancient Peru history through more than 45,000 pieces. Day 3 - April 21, 2024

Private | 2 days/1 night Colca Canyon - Lunch  

Arrival to Arequipa and transfer to the Colca Valley. This trip takes approximately 5 hours with stops along the way included. On the route you can see the area of Pampa Cañahuas, where you can photograph the South American camelids, Llamas, Alpacas and Vicuñas in the Salinas and Aguada Blanca Reserve. You will go through a small snack restaurant to have an infusion of coca and appreciate the rock formations, then continue with the trip until you reach Chivay approx. 1:00 p.m. (capital of the province of Caylloma) where you will have time for lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the thermal waters of La Calera (optional) or stay at the hotel and have the afternoon free.

Day 4 - April 22, 2024

Colca/Arequipa

Early after breakfast, you will go to the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor, where if the weather permits you will observe the flight of the largest bird on the planet. We will have a short walk along the edge of the canyon for about 40 minutes to have better panoramic views and look for condors on our way. After the visit to the Cruz del Condor, you will make some stops at another viewpoint to appreciate the terraces of crops, continuing with the neighboring town of Maca to appreciate its church and the local crafts, continuing we arrive at Chivay to have lunch in a typical restaurant (11:30 a.m. approx.). After lunch continue the trip to Arequipa approx. 1:00 p.m. on the way, a stop is made in Patapampa where you can appreciate the Chila and Ampato volcano ranges around you, passing through the highest point on the entire trip (4,910 meters above sea level). Approximate arrival time, 5:00 p.m.

Day 5 - April 23, 2024

Private | Half Day City Tour and St. Catalina Convent

You will begin your tour with a visit to the districts of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara, there you will find a viewpoint from where you will have a panoramic view of the Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes, as well as the city of Arequipa. Then we will go to the Historic Center stopping at the Plaza de Armas, a place that is surrounded by the most representative buildings of the city, you will visit the Cloisters of La Compañía de Jesús with its impressive construction and the polychrome Chapel of San Ignacio, place where find the representative stores of Arequipa to produce garments in Vicuña and alpaca fiber. Finally, you will go to the Monastery of Santa Catalina, founded in 1580, where you will be able to appreciate its cloisters, picturesque streets, and squares.

Day 6 - April 24, 2024

Private | Full Day Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo._Duration:_11 hrs

You will head towards the Raqchi viewpoint, from where you will have a privileged view of the Urubamba Valley. Then, you will head to Moray, a fascinating archaeological site in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will visit its huge concentric terraces, which the Incas used as a botanical laboratory. Then, you will enjoy a panoramic visit the Maras salt mines, where the finest salt in the world is extracted: Maras salt. You will then head to a restaurant in Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Continue to Ollantaytambo where you can visit the archaeological complex of the same name, one of the largest in Peru, which is strategically located on top of a mountain. Afterwards, you will descend to the town of Ollantaytambo, which stands out for maintaining the Inca urban planning as part of its original urban layout, with some buildings and narrow stone streets. You can tour the town and visit the local market.

Day 7 - April 25, 2024

This visit will, without a doubt, be one of your most memorable experiences. After you reach the top, you will take a tour of Machu Picchu, learning the history and mysteries of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. And, with amazing sceneries all around, you will surely have more than one spectacular photo-op. Then, it’s back to Aguas Calientes. Finally, you will board the train for the return journey. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 8 - April 26, 2024

Private |Half Day City tour, San Pedro market & nearby ruins._Duration:_5 hrs

You will visit the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will start your tour at the iconic San Pedro market, a local market where you can explore the colors, flavors and traditions of modern Cusco. The visit continues with the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore  Q’enqo archeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place.  Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city.

Day 11 - April 29, 2024

Private | Transfer Cusco - Puno with visits on route - Bilingual guide and lunch included.

You will leave to Puno, enjoying the wonderful landscapes of the Southern Valley of Cusco on the way. First you will visit Andahuaylillas, where you will find the church of San Pedro, a beautiful 17th-century building that has an impressive organ, decorated with angels and cherubs. Then, you will visit the Raqchi ruins -also known as The Temple of God Wiracocha- which have different areas that were used for various purposes. At the end of this visit, you will enjoy a delicious and typical lunch at a local restaurant. Then, you will head to La Raya, the highest point between Cusco and Puno, where you will make a short stop to appreciate the landscape. Afterwards, you will go to Pucará, where you will visit the town and the museum of this Inca military construction, which also functioned as an administrative center. Finally, you will arrive at your hotel in Puno.

Day 12 - April 30, 2024

Private | Full Day Uros and Taquile._

We pick up passengers from the hotel lobby and transfer them to the port of Puno at the previously agreed time. it is carried out in tricycles from the hotel in the city and for the passengers of the lake hotels from Av el Sol two passengers per tricycle. Our first visit will be to the floating islands of the Uros, they are about 30 minutes from.  Puno by motorboat, in these islands we find the ethnic group that arrived in Puno 3700 years ago according to National Geographic and that survived thanks to their ability from living among the totorales until today with the custom of collectors and fishermen, approximately two thousand inhabitants live on 100 islands, during the tour two islands are visited, the first is the most traditional, where the natives will show you how the islands were built, the how of their daily life, you can visit their houses, they will offer to take photos dressed in their typical costumes, and they will show you their crafts characterized by embroidery and basketry based on reeds, the inhabitants of the Uros, will offer you rides on rafts which will be a means to reach the second island, for those who wish, the entire tour is to see their culture, way of life and crafts made by the inhabitants themselves.

 

We arrive at Taquile, we begin our walk surrounded by cultivated land, with surprising landscapes between the colorful costumes, the immense lake and in the background the snow-capped mountains of the Illimani mountain range, we arrive at the house of a local family where we will have a representation of handicrafts , Taquile has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for the textiles they present, with iconographies that represent their customs, calendars, festivities, etc.Lunch is shared with the community members accompanied by native dances and music, they lend them their colorful costumes for a photo shoot and show them how they live their daily lives, we return to the port of Puno to be transferred to the respective hotels.

Take a stroll along the "malecon" and the famous "Bridge of Sighs"; visit the Barranco Main Square and hidden spots that only locals know. A visit to a renowned Peruvian artist's home and atelier will give you a sense of the boheme atmosphere this area has had since many years ago. And a brief stop at a prestigious local muralist's workshop, whose pieces adorn many streets of the neighborhood, will show you how creativity continues to be in the heart of the Barranco experience. Experience | Ballestas Island (Transfers included)

Discover the Ballestas Islands, home to peculiar and diverse coastal fauna. This two-hour journey takes us around several small islands while hearing location cries from sea lions, spotting Humboldt penguins and a wide variety of guano birds. On the way to the islands you will be able to appreciate the magnificence of the “Candelabro” (the Candlestick), an enormous and mysterious geoglyph carved on the desert soil, making this a morning of archeological and natural history discovery.

Day 17 - Mayo 05, 2024

Semi Private | Half Day Buggies Tour._

Pick up from your hotel in Paracas and transfer to Km 253 of the Panamericana Sur, where we will board the tubulars, which will be conducted by expert pilots, to start the walk through the sand desert, appreciating different shapes, types and sizes of Dunes. We will start the dune ride from 05 to 06 meters, 20 to 30, 50 to 80 and up to 150 meters. We will make a first stop, to appreciate a panoramic view, where we can take photos, walk and enjoy it. In the second stop, we will practice the Sandboard, which consists of sliding down a slope from a dune, on an adapted table, with the instructions from the base instructor. Finally, return to the hotel.
