SOOKE LIONS CLUB

Some of the local projects that the Sooke Lions support:  Sooke Phone Book/Business Directory, Food Bank, School Breakfasts, Youth Sports, Sooke Hard Times Dance, JdF Salmon Restoration Society, Ball Concession, Hearing Foundation, Regional Museum, Canada Day, Santa Claus Parade, Sooke Salmon Enhancement Society, Navy League Sea Cadets, "Chip In For the Kids" Christmas Tree Chipping, Staples "Stock the Locker", Music Monday, Local Cemetary Upkeep, Car "Show and Shine", Cops for Cancer "Tour de Rock", Luxton Fair "Day for Challenged Youth"  

Sooke Lions also support Diabetes Awareness as well as the LCIF "Sight First" program and conduct Vision Screenings for all Grade 2 Students. Disaster Preparedness and Relief through the Lions "ALERT" program and the Sooke Emergency Support Services, Camp Shawnigan, and the Royal Canadian Legion. The Sooke Lions also put all Grade 2 students through a Learn to swim program.
