2022 Summer Baseball Sponsorships

Smith Center Lions' Club will be sponsoring two Summer-league teams; Everyone is invited to enjoy the Summer baseball games this year!

2022 Annual Birthday and Anniversary Calendar Sales

Smith Center Lions' Club will begin annual calendar sales on March 1, 2022; calendars start July 1st and will be distributed in June 2022. Each birthday/anniversary/memorial listing is 40 cents and calendars are $6.00 each. Lions' members will be going door to door to request orders and collect information; we must have orders completed by Fri, Apr 15, 2022 end-of-day. You may also request your calendar and provide your information to a dropbox (or mail them) at Huffman's Floor Covering (115 S. Main, Smith Center, KS 66967). 

On the 2022 Lion's Club calendar: 
Each listing is 40 cents (anniversary, birthday, memorial). [Please include specific dates if we do not already have them from 2021]
Each calendar itself is $6.00.  


Each trash bag roll is $13.00. Choose white, yellow or blue.
   White has 65 bags per roll; Yellow has 25 bags per roll; Blue has 15 bags per roll.


2022 Smith Country Free Fair Train Rides for the Kids

Smith Center Lions' Club members and volunteers provide train rides for K-8 children in the vicinity of the show barns and stadium to give parents a break and children a thrill.

2022 Memorial Day Cemetery Flag Project

Smith Center Lions' Club members and volunteers raise dozens of United States Flags on poles surrounding the Fairview Cemetery in Smith Center, KS

2022 Lions' Peace Poster Contest

Smith Center Lions' Club sponsors a local Peace Poster Contest each year for youth, ages 11-13. The theme is set by Lions Club International and the deadline for submissions is in early October. Our local club provides prizes for first, second and third place finishers in the contest. First place winners are forwarded to District 17-K contests, and winners at the district level are forwarded to the multi-district 17 in Kansas for a larger competition.

2022 Annual Pancake Feed & Shotgun Raffle 

On the Second Saturday in November, the SC Lions' Club will host its annual pancake day fundraiser. Offerings are voluntary. This year we will have one 12-gauge shotguns to raffle away at the end of the event. Donations go to the Lions Sight Foundation for a chance to win one of the shotgun $5.00 for each chance or 5 chances for $20.00.
