Public Seats
The public seat paid for by Sleaford & District Lions in memory of Lion Ken Coaton is now in position close to the bus shelter on Boston Road. This is our third sponsored public seat, the others being on Eastgate Green by the river and on Northgate in front of Carre's Grammar School.
A plaque has also been added to the public seat on Eastgate Green bearing the name of Jim Boddington, also a long serving member who was the Club Treasurer for several years prior to his passing in November 2012.
Public Defibrillator
We have commenced a new Club Project - raising funds to purchase and locate a defibrillator within the town centre for emergency use by members of the public.
February 2014 - We have now purchased a defibrillator and plans are being made to position it outside The Solo Club in Market Street.
Spring 2015 - Despite numerous setbacks the Defibrillator will hopefully be installed in the Market Place.
