The 2025 Christmas Gift Giving Project (aka the Toy Drive) was an incredible success, with nearly 400 children blessed with the joy of opening presents on Christmas Day. This would not have been possible without the generosity and kindness of our community partners, whom we would like to sincerely thank for their support of this meaningful cause:

  • St. Paul's United Church
  • MacDonald Realty
  • Sidney Lawn Bowling Club
  • Central Saanich Lawn Bowling Club
  • St. Andrews Anglican Church
  • Van Isle Marina
  • Westcoast Spill Supply
  • Pemberton Holmes - Sidney
  • Royal Bank of Canada - Sidney
  • Royal LePage - Sidney
  • Many individuals with both toy/monetary donations and volunteer hours

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Beacon Community Services (Shoal Centre). Through this meaningful partnership, we were able to deliver nearly 150 seniors with presents to open on Christmas Day, helping bring joy, warmth, and connection during the holiday season. It is truly an honour to continue this valued partnership into the coming year.

The Sidney Lions Club donated another $4,000 to the Cycling Without Age Society.  They  improve the lives of the elderly, and others with limited mobility, by promoting intergenerational relationships and providing an opportunity to connect with neighbours, nature and fresh air.

This year's tree shredding event.  Bartlett Tree Services donates their services to chip the trees.  We also did a bottle drive this year.

Touch a Truck event - We volunteer to serve food at this event.  Raises money for a childhood cancer. Thank you Peninsula Towing for getting our rig to our events.

We serve breakfast for kids at Christmas Time "Breakfast with Santa".
